the geese I think are done laying eggs, but I’m not totally sure
it also looks like their might be some oyster catcher nests around, need to take a closer look

the fog was pretty dense my fog horn was going off from 10pm last night to 7am this morning and again around 8-9 or 10am

a couple of the female elephants were blocking off a goose from her nest and the goose was pretty upset but the elephant seals could not be bothered and stayed napping there for a while

Guy, brought by a group of Lauras marine science students to do a transect study at low tide today

no visitors today but I think guy is coming by tomorrow to help me fuel up the generator

it looked like the sea otter was in the kelp bed again today, a bit hard to tell from here
one of the younger female elephant seals almost looks like one of the babies because of the colouring, but I’m not sure because she looks a bit big to be only 3 months old
also I think there is a young male on island, the nose looks a little protruded but not enough to be sure, it might just be a large female
