Marine Pollution and the Race Rocks Ecological Reserve

Race Rocks is one of 33 Marine Ecological Reserves in the Province of British Columbia. These reserves were created because of their special ecological values whether they are marine mammal birthing colonies or haulouts, Bird nesting or migratory stopover locations, or areas with abundant intertitdal and subtidal marine life.
