  • Had a couple ecotours come by but not as many as last month

  • I saw another neck band on a sea lion today (photos below)

Harlequin Ducks are Back

  • Saw the Harlequin ducks for the first time in months
  • still plenty of sea lions but less everyday
  • haven’t spotted an elephant seal today but I’m sure they are around

November 4th

  • Sky: cloudy throughout the day
  • Water: choppy, about a metre

  • Had a few ecotours cruise by today, not many

Ecological

  • a few elephant seals, more sea lions in front of the house but less in general
  • definitely less californias and more stellars around

Getting Colder

  • Wind:  It was Blowing 23 NW this morning but is now 5-10 NE
  • Sky: Some clouds throughout the day with a bit of sunshine coming through
  • Water: choppy this morning, calmed down in late afternoon

  • sea lions are still in the way by the desalinator room

Notes

  • Ran the generator and desalinator today for a few hours, and the solar panels are nice clean, brought in a decent amount of solar energy today
