Canada Geese
Ecological Notes:. Canada Geese are nesting on the island. I found 2 nests this week but they don’t last long. We have a river otter appetite for goose eggs!
Visitors: Saturday, the PC boat arrived to take my brother home before the forecasted high winds.
Facility Work: Battery maintenance day. Stacking wood for keepers house. Cleaning the outside of buildings.
Vessel Traffic: 4 Eco-tour boats, a morning fishing derby and lots of sport boats fishing vessels around the park.

Ecological Notes:. Orca 5 to 7 west bound Race pass.
Visitors: Had my brother for one night stay. Plumber and PC staff member.
Facility Work: Cutting wood today. Water pump replaced in student house.

Ecological Notes: There are lots of Daffodils flowering all over the island.
Visitors: The fresh water tank is topped up and ready for visitors.
Facility Work: The PC students arrive Monday. We have been busy cleaning the buildings and preparing for their arrival.
