Had a couple tours today, people from the college visiting race rocks

6 adult female elephant seals in the front yeard, and one of the pups, the other pup still hasn’t been around I assume she is out hunting, hopefully she will turn up soon
Hardly any wind today but the waves were a good size and there was a light rain throughout the day

a few ecotours went by today
Guy and Mike came by to make sure the generator and all the new batteries and inverters were running well

6 adult female elephant seals in front of the house, one pup stayed near the jetty and I have not seen the other pup today, I think she is might be out hunting which is great, she’s lost a lot of baby fat
Water: Calm this morning, waves in the afternoon 1-2 metres

haven’t seen much boat activity but Guy did drop off a food order for me this morning

the pups were playing together in the water this morning then came up to the front yard for awhile then all 5 female elephant seals went down to the water and they are there now
a few boats went by today, along with a couple visitors on the island

The pups are inseperable, its adorable, then an older female that is pretty large showed up today and got right in between them, the youngest pup was pretty upset about it but the three of them are napping together now

the past few days the two pups have been inseperable, they were playing together in the water this morning and are sleeping by the flag pole now, strange they havent seem to really connected with each other until the past few days
