I had a couple visitors come from the college to take a little tour around the island

Another mature female elephant seal showed up this morning, I am unsure if she is pregnant but I guess we will find out in a couple days

The elephant seal are doing well, the pup is quite cuddly with both mothers

saw a helicopter go by, not many boats

there is another female on the island, she looks very small, maybe a year old
the pups are interacting and the new pup is cozy with the other mom and thats fine with her but the moms get aggressive with each other sometimes
also there were some Surf Scoters in front of the jetty

DND was blasting abit today, the fog horn was going for a bit, it was a sort of eventful day here

Both pups are doing well, not much interaction between them, the mothers tend to keep each other away but stay sort of close to each other

Another female showed up this morning, I noticed her around 8 am and she gave birth at about 2 pm

noticed another large male elephant seal out on middle rock, he’s been there for a little while now but I don’t see any other elephant seals out there

Spent some time in the lighthouse last night due to the tsunami warning
everything is all good here today though
this large log did wash up onto the jetty a couple days ago, not sure how we are going to move that
