Weather: wind west currently 26 knots fog
Facility: Every morning I clean the solar panels before 630 a.m. and this morning they were wet enough from the fog that they don’t require water. Because I do it every day they are also not THAT dirty. I will continue this practice for the brief time remaining . I already had water in a bucket so cleaned the student building windows. I finished sweeping the lighthouse stairs. Some stairs need attention as the sandstone is exposed and it is easily disintegrating. I will send a picture to PC so they can address this before the stairs become grooved.
Traffic before the fog came in there was a steady stream of tourism boats. Around 10. 1 fishing boat was inside the boundary but when I came onto the porch with my binoculars they left right away. Also , one pleasure craft came too close to the sea lions and they started leaving the rocks. When I radioed and requested that they keep a distance they moved further away.
Wildlife: Both black oystercatchers have hatched. I am glad the jetty is not being used for a couple of days as they are right beside it.

Empty nest?

Can you see them?
