  • and I finally saw a pod of maybe 8 orcas today

November 26th

  • Sky: cloudy
  • Water: choppy today, I would say waves came up to a metre

  • didn’t really see any passing boats today

Ecological

  • still quite a few sea lions around
  • and one big male elephant seal
  • I haven’t seen the harbour seal pup today

  • the wind is really picking now, in the 40’s tonight

  • There a seal pup by the jetty that I took a lot of photos of
  • a large male elephant seal showed up around 4pm, also by the jetty
  • still plenty of eagles around

  • a few elephant seals, more sea lions in front of the house but less in general
  • definitely less californias and more stellars around

  • Sky: Some clouds throughout the day with a bit of sunshine coming through
  • Water: choppy this morning, calmed down in late afternoon

  • Ran the generator and desalinator today for a few hours, and the solar panels are nice clean, brought in a decent amount of solar energy today
