The males both seem to have gone off today, I haven’t seen them, I’ve only seen the pups along with the two juvenile tagged females

another tagged female elephant seal showed up today could only make out the last 3 digits on the tag which were 019

An adult female elephant seal showed up today and the oldest pup was relaxing on the jetty with the sea lions
also the juvenile male had blood on him, there may have been a couple small puncture wounds but nothing serious
it was a beautiful afternoon, a bit difficult counting with all the movement

The males were moving around a bit today but the pups mostly stayed in their spots, the little one really likes being away from the rest up there on the helicopter pad

Had the guys working on the project by the student house here today
Kyle came by with a student as well to show him around a bit
Had an ecotour and a couple fishing boats and a sailboat cruise by today as well

Both pups still around this morning, the younger pup found a safe spot away from the males near the helicopter pad, so she did a bit of rock climbing to get there
also saw a few Killdeer birds around today

Had some people come by today to work on a project by the student house
Guy brought the Race Rocks boat by today and put it in the boat shed, will hopefully be getting trained next week

The oldest pup came back today, I think she just went out for a swim yesterday
The younger pup has moved around a bit and she has mostly been left alone today too

The oldest pup is nowhere to be found today, she was near the boat shed last night and I have walked around the island a couple times today but I have not seen her anywhere
there is a fourth male elephant seal swimming around, he looks pretty young and I think he has been here before
The youngest pup has been trying to fend off the other males today

a bit of movement today, one of the younger males was chasing the older pup and the bug guy stepped in and chased and the younger male off
the geese are seem to be starting to nest so they are getting louder and more aggressive
